The YDC recently moved our 50 year old 36ft ketch from Levkas, Greece to Alicante in Spain. All communication with Cuno was straightforward and precise. Excellent! The capitan and crew arrived punctually and were certainly impressive. In particular, the captain had a huge range of experience, which was to prove handy, and was extremely professional. There was a small delay to deliver due to faults on the boat which were repaired quickly and cost effectively. An excellent job. I would certainly recommend The YDC. Thank you very much.

Jeanneau 43DS. Puerto de Mogán (ES) - Riposto (IT)
In May 2026 TYDC delivered a 25 year old Jeanneau 43 from Gran Canaria to Sicily, a journey of nearly 2000nm. Communication with Cuno, before, during and after trip was excellent and I felt confident my yacht was in safe hands. The delivery skipper, William, was extremely professional, ensuring the boat was well prepared for the trip and thoroughly cleaned. The journey went without major incident other than a blown out mainsail clew which William arranged to have repaired in Palma without any fuss. The handover was comprehensive. All in all a excellent company with excellent people and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The Yacht Delivery Company delivered my Seaquest 32 sailboat successfully from Lelystad in the Netherlands to Kilrush in Clare, Ireland.
From the beginning Cuno was professional and easy to deal with. During the trip Cuno remained in constant contact with the crew and assisted with shore based input in relation to the planning, advising on weather, sea and boat related issues. Andrea as captain and Paul as first mate dealt with bad weather fog, big seas and wind and safely and carefully got the boat to its final destination in very good condition. They were both extremely professional, technically very capable and experienced and most importantly a pleasure to sail with.

Lagoon 400. Punat (CR) - Ystad (SE)
We had decided to move our catamaran, a Lagoon 400 from Croatia to Sweden.
A little unsure of how we could get help with this, we finally got in touch with Cuno and The Yacht Delivery Company.
We felt very safe from the first moment when Cuno described the process from start to final destination. In competition with several alternatives, we fortunately decided on TYDC.
From the very beginning, the communication with Cuno was prompt, clear, and reassuring. He answered all our questions and provided detailed explanations about the entire delivery process, which helped us feel confident in our decision.
We also got a good feeling about the crew after receiving their CV for our approval. They proved their competence when timing storms and other things.
We received continuous feedback from Cuno during the trip, both in terms of schedule and budget. His experience and competence were a guarantee for us so we could sleep well at night while our darling was on the way home.
When we finally got our boat to Ystad, we probably expected a boat that required a lot of cleaning and restoration after 49 days at sea.
Imagine our surprise when we boarded a boat that was in absolutely top condition.

Gelukkig zijn er nog steeds bedrijven zoals The Yacht Delivery Company, bedrijven die hun beloften nakomen.
Begin maart 2025 heb ik Cuno van TYDC opdracht gegeven om mijn zeiljacht, een Hallberg Rassy 62, van Mallorca naar Zierikzee in het zuiden van Nederland te vervoeren.
Op 31 maart was het tijd voor schipper Eric en twee leerling-schippers, Gauthier en Luka, om aan boord te gaan. Na een grondige inspectie konden we twee dagen later Mallorca verlaten.
Het was geweldig om te zien hoe de crew dagenlang 24 uur per dag samenwerkte.
Met veel passie en vakmanschap, en niet te vergeten met veiligheid als eerste prioriteit, werd de reis uitgevoerd door schipper Eric en zijn bemanning.
Na 14 dagen en ongeveer 1900 Nm meerden we ongeschonden aan in Zierikzee.
Ik wil Cuno hartelijk bedanken voor de organisatie en schipper Eric en bemanning Gauthier en Luka voor deze onvergetelijke reiservaring.
